Jail Guards Badge in Quebec during WW2

Police Related items

This badge was used by the jail guards in Quebec during WW2 and up to 1953. A rare example of this turbulent period in Quebec's relationship with the rest of Canada. Note the crown above the badge is from George the 6th (King's crown era) . This is a numbered badge (#798) as well so is most likely tracable historically. A beautiful enamelled badge, with blue, green, and red enamel. Slight piece missing in the coat of arms shield of Quebec, but otherwise in exceptional condition for its age.Guaranteed 100% genuine or your money back.
