You are viewing a WW1 29th Batallion cap badge. Formed in 1915. this battalion was raised in Vancouver British Columbia. Sailed for England in May of 1915 and was part of the 6th infantry brigade 2nd Canadian Division. Served in France and Belgium. Became known as Tobin's Tigers since it was under command of one Lt. Colonel H.S. Tobin. This beautiful example is complete with both lugs. A o/r clean copper badge with very nice patina giving evidence to its age. A beauty for any collector of Canadian CEF badges.
